Martello Building Consultancy were commissioned by Sir Roger Manwood’s School in Sandwich, Kent to prepare a comprehensive set of ‘As is’ drawings covering the school buildings and site.

The detailed drawings provided the existing layout of the school, importantly identifying fire escape/evacuation routes, position of fire alarm systems and fire assembly points.

The drawings were for use in assessing the future work schedule as well as providing the evacuation route maps to be placed around the school site.
In conjunction with the school’s fire risk assessment, Martello also produced a report with associated cost plan and recommendations for necessary works and a prioritization schedule.

Martello has worked with a variety of educational establishments across Kent delivering a range of different projects from drawings and technical specifications through to large renovation projects and building extensions.
