This project was completed for East Kent College at their Broadstairs Campus in November 2019. Martello Building Consultancy acted as Architectural Technician, Contract Administrator, Quantity Surveyor and CDM Principal Designer for the new layout and refurbishment of the campus refectory and kitchen.

Working with Principal Contractor Clean Air Systems and Installations Ltd the first floor refectory area was reconfigured to provide a more modern and open plan feel to the eating area including the use of the new college corporate colours.

The kitchen area was also modernized to provide new facilities in keeping with an up to date college campus.
The open plan design for the area offers a bright and spacious multi-purpose dining area that can also be used teaching classes.
