Dover District Council employed Martello Building Consultancy as Contract Administrator, Quantity Surveyor and CDM Principal Designer. Martello Building Consultancy also provided architectural services for the planning application and the technical construction drawings, working alongside the contractor Breem Construction Ltd to deliver two new properties in Foxborough Close, Woodnesborough.

The properties are both three bedroom houses for affordable rent and will deliver more local affordable housing within the Dover District.

As part of Dover District Council’s commitment to their net Zero Carbon target, Air Source Heat Pumps and solar PV panels have been installed to both of the properties. The use of renewable and sustainable energy will reduce the households carbon footprints and they have both achieved EPC ratings of A.

The construction works by Breem Construction Ltd began in September 2023 and were completed in July 2023 and the project was delivered within the project budget.
