Housing Association Project
Martello have been involved in a number of projects for the Croydon Churches Housing Association.
For this particular project we were commissioned to provide Contract Administrator, Quantity Surveyor, Architectural and CDM Principal Designer services.
The scheme was a conversion and extension to an existing HMO property to provide 6x one bedroom flats for shared ownership in Byland Close, Sutton.
The project brought a number of challenges to the Martello team particularly around the design of the new layout to ensure that we were able to fit six flats into the existing footprint of the building plus the property extension.
With some innovative re-working of the room layouts we have been able to deliver six very unique, well-finished and beautifully presented flats.
Martello have also worked with CCHA on new design and build programs like the Birchanger Road scheme in Croydon.
